STERLING SILVER - GENERAL CARE GUIDELINES

925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure Silver and 7.5% Copper. Sterling silver is nickel free and hypoallergenic. We plate our Silver jewelry in rhodium, which gives it extra shine and durability. Rhodium is one of the costliest precious metals due to its rarity. Our gold jewelry are plated in 14 carat gold. Jewelry needs maintenance, and to extend the shelf life of the coating, it is recommended that you take care of your jewelry and wear it carefully. In everyday use we recommend that you follow these tips:

- Always take the jewelry off before you go to bed.
- Avoid washing your hands with the jewelry on and always take it off before showering, bathing, cleaning, playing sports, etc.
- When not wearing the jewelry, it is recommended that you keep the jewelry in a sealed cloth bag, plastic bag or similar. In this way you avoid oxidation of the jewelry.
- The jewelry should be put on as the last step in your daily beauty routine.
-Perfume, make-up, hairspray, lotions and oils can all damage the coating on the jewelry.
- Gently polish the jewelry with a silver polishing cloth from time to time

All sterling silver jewelry tarnishes over time, which for rhodium-plated items takes the form of dark colored spots and for gold plated the gilding fades. This is a natural process and is therefore not a complaint. So make sure to take good care of your jewelry and it will last for a long time.
